The Duo was soon noticed by Jive Records and Russell Simmons which led them to their first album, “Rock the House” in 1987. They received their first Grammy for “Parents Just Don’t Understand” in 1988. He later signed a contract with NBC Network and performed for the series The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air in 1990. Smith married his girlfriend Sheree Zampino in 1992 and had a son named Trey Smith. The couple was however divorced in 1995. Following which in the year 1997, he married actress, Jada Koren Pinkett. Together they have two children, Jaden Smith, his co-star and Willow Smith, who was Will’s daughter in I Am Legend. He currently resides in Los Angeles, California. As of Philanthropy, he donated $1.3 Million in 2007 to charities.
